The Jack Hayford Legacy Library is a public archive of Pastor Jack Hayford's teaching. It is built to be read, searched, and shared. There are no accounts, no passwords, and no shopping cart. This page explains the small amount of data the site does collect and why.
What we collect
We use PostHog, a privacy-conscious analytics tool, to understand how the library is used so we can improve it. It records:
- Pages viewed, and a defined set of interactions: searches run, filters used, sermons opened on YouTube, summaries downloaded, and links shared.
- Your approximate location (country and region), derived from your IP address. We do not store your full IP address for our own use.
- General device and browser information, and anonymous recordings of on-page interactions with text you type kept masked by default.
We do not use broad automatic click tracking, so the tool only sees the specific actions listed above, not everything you touch on the page.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your data. We do not run advertising. We do not ask for or store names, email addresses, or payment details, because the site never needs them.
Your choices
If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we honor it: no analytics of any kind load for your visit. You can also clear the cookies and local storage this site sets at any time from your browser settings.
Content from other services
Sermon videos link out to YouTube; no YouTube player loads on this site. A podcast player from Spotify or Apple Podcasts loads only if you choose to open it. Once you follow a link to those services, or load one of those players, their own privacy policies apply.
Questions and changes
We may update this page as the library grows. For any question about your data or this policy, contact Jack Hayford Ministries through jackhayford.org.
