A Brief Talk on Speaking with Tongues

This teaching by Pastor Jack Hayford explains the difference between receiving your spiritual language when baptized with the Holy Spirit and the Gift of Tongues which is part of the nine Gifts of the Spirit. The Gift of Tongues is distributed by the Holy Spirit as He wills. In 1 Corinthians 14:5 Paul says " I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied; for he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification." NKJV Tongues and interpretation equals prophecy. Jesus is the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit and spiritual language is a privilege available to everyone who receives the promise of the Father, that is, the gift of the Holy Spirit. Jesus prophesied tongues would attend believers lives. Mark 16:17 "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues&hellip;." NKJV &lt;p&gt; <p><br />In today's times shouldn't we openly receive EVERYTHING that is available to us from the resources of the hand of the Living God?</p> <p>At the conclusion of this message, a tongue is spoken by a member of the congregation and interpreted by Pastor Jack.
