The prophet Amos' name means "burden bearer." While his time as a prophet of God was short, only two years, his ministry had tremendous impact on the northern kingdom of Israel. Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God. The second is to love our neighbor as ourselves. This is the message of Amos. From the album, "Majoring in the Minors."
