Revelation is not only a beautiful word, but an exciting one. It promises the unexpected; it holds the hope of finding something new—more than just something untried, but something fulfilling in its discovery. This passage defines the prayer of a pastor for his people. Paul, who had founded and pastored the Church in Ephesus for two years, is writing to the flock. In writing he tells them he has been praying that God would give them a distinct operation of the Holy Spirit’s ministry: wisdom and revelation. Wisdom is to know what to do, and relevation is needed to know how it can be fulfilled. An Easter message by Pastor Jack Hayford.
