About this message

The name "Habakkuk" means "embrace", signifying that he was embraced by God and thus strengthened by Him for his difficult task of embracing others. The book of Habakkuk gives an account of the spiritual journey from doubt to worship. The name "Haggai" means "festive" and Haggai was a contemporary of Zechariah. He brought the message of God's encouragement to the people, and reminds us that we should not allow difficulties, enemies or anything else to turn us aside from our divinely given responsibilities and purpose. From the album, "Majoring in the Minors."
