What's with "40 days" in the Bible? Pondering, studying, I concluded: Forty days is a kind of symbol of the flesh's limited capacity to sustain itself. Thus, "forty" is a time-signal in God's Word that points to "BREAKTHROUGH!" It is the break-point: at the end of the flesh's limits comes the beginning of the Spirit's power.
