This sermon was delivered by Pastor Jack Hayford following the sudden call to Glory of Dr. Scott G. Bauer on Friday, Oct. 24, 2003. Dr. Bauer, who was 49 and served as Senior Pastor of The Church on the Way, succumbed to the hemorrhage of an aneurysm that occurred the preceding Wednesday evening at the close of the church's midweek prayer meeting. Pastor Scott Bauer was also Pastor Jack's son in the faith and his son by reason of marriage to Pastor Jack and Anna's daughter, Rebecca.
