Revelation summarizes the battle of the ages between Satan, the Arch-Rebel, and the Almighty God, Creator of all things and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. When Paul describes the spiritual warfare of the believer (2 Cor. 10), he describes the boasting of the Adversary, that he will arrogate and claim as his right everything that is God's. That plays into his quest to manifest as a trinity, just as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
