About this message

The events and incidents presented by the text well illustrate the question which all peoples and all times must face concerning the gospel message. This question is, are you committed to the world mind? Or are you committed to the mind of Christ? The Holy Spirit can work a change in the mind that will commit itself to repentance, to a changing of the mind. And if you have turned your mind and heart toward the Lord, are you committed to keeping that direction? A great body of truth confronts us all, summoning the unrepentant and establishing the believer. A review of this passage points out the obvious wisdom of submitting to the truth if you haven't and of standing in the truth if you have received the Lord. Consider the contrast between the two groups, those who have committed themselfs to disbelief and those who have committed to believe.
