Obadiah/Malachi: Prophets of Right Relationship

The prophet Obadiah was known as the "Servant/Worshiper of Yahweh." The "day of the Lord" and the kingdom of God proclaimed by Obadiah anticipate the entry of Jesus Christ into the world. Malachi is the last of a number of divinely inspired men who, over a period of a thousand years, foretold the coming of the Just One. He also reminds us of God's unchanging love for people due to His mercy that endures forever. Malachi's writing also reveal that he was a dedicated prophet-a person clearly in tune with the Holy Spirit. From the album, "Majoring in the Minors."
