Our Invisible Means of Support

About this message

This teaching covers four world viewpoints of the invisible realm. First, there are people who see only in the natural, and therefore think only in terms of the visible realm. Second are people who think there may be an invisible realm of determinative action, but who still resort to natural means for securing solutions. Third are the people who hope there is a spiritual answer, but can't see how close it is at hand or how abundant its awaiting provision, and fourth are people who see the invisible, know God's power is available and take action through faith and prayer. The prophet Elisha was the fourth kind of person. He understood how to penetrate the invisible realm to invite the grace and power of God and the divine visitation of His deliverance into circumstances in the natural realm. His prayer literally defeated the army of the Syrian King and brought them into captivity. The invisible realm is a spiritual reality and within this realm there are conflicts between the powers of darkness and the powers of the Living God. Our participation in these conflicts through prayer is essential to the enemy's defeat in our lives. God has provided the means and the power to overcome all power of the enemy.
