About this message

The biblical exhortation to "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem" (Psalm 122:6) carries with it tremendous significance. As believers, we have been re-born for more than simply our own fulfillment; we are here out of Divine design that includes our partnership with God in intercessory prayer. So why are we specifically directed to pray for Jerusalem? Because while all the Earth is the Lord's, He has placed His name uniquely on this piece of real estate (1 Kings 11:36), and because of that, there are inescapable promises and purposes that will be realized there. Furthermore, there is also your Jerusalem-the personal "real estate" of your life where these same principles apply.
