Submission means God wants you to learn to fit where you fit, and not try to fit someplace else. To be what He's made you to be. You'll be happier there. As long as you try to save your life, you will lose your life. But when you lose it you are loosing it to be. The spirit of submission is what we are talking about not the word of it. in the 37th psalm there are principles laid out that are designed to show us how to enter into the spirit of submission. The spirit of submission is the fulfillment of the submitted life. Not learning words, it is not being submitted just to say that you are submitted. Submission has. a basic set of principles that you are not trying to work it out yourself. Fretting is basically the need to keep it strung together yourself, you have the need to hold onto it. Wherever we are pressing to get it down, we will not get it done ourselves. When we fret, we are basically saying htat we don't trust God to handle Hiw world. Our business is to love poeple, to submit to the Lord and trust Him. God asks us to give our world to Him and trust Him to take care of it. When you begin to trust the Lord, you can be happy with Him. The spirit of submission is giving it ALL to the Lord, and saying Lord you are going to have to handle my life. The Lord offers to be your personal manager in every area of your life. but you need to give it to him and let him have it. Submission is surrender, and surnder is from the heart.
