Pastor Hayford teaches from Matthew 5, 6 and 7, "The Sermon on the Mount," which sets forth a code of ethics for the people who would be Jesus' disciples. Jesus sets forth first a message of forgiveness, joy and its power to deliver a person from hopelessness and futility of their past. He brings healing to the life and mind, breaking the bondage to satanic snares, and then being the Forgiver, Lord, Savior, Deliverer, and Healer. After this is done, He says, "Now follow Me."
