We have all been reminded of how the Statue of Liberty was placed in New York Harbor to welcome newcomers to the United States. The Statue means that we are a people who believe people should have freedom in their daily life. This is a good time to be reminded that the Lord wants us to have a freedom even greater than that: He wants us to have freedom for our eternal life. This not only means heaven forever, but heavenly power NOW!
