Fire in the Latter Rain

We generally think of things being either surrendered, or ‘tried and judged by fire,’ as being consumed in an action of rejection by God, rather than an act of release. We think the fire is always one of wrath, of ange, a show of raw power or of divine displeasure. While such judging may take place at times, the Holy Spirit is wanting to get my attention, saying,"There is a certain measure of power that will never be released in your life because you haven't brought the dead wood of your dead works to Me. Only then will you know the power released when I purge and purify." From the album "Days of Latter Rain."
