Welcoming the Spirit of Restoration

Restoration requires repentance. Repentance needs to be applied before restoration can begin. The outpouring of the Holy Spirit is made analogous to the latter rain by the prophets in key places of Scripture, and points to God's promise of restoration. The picture here of the latter rain is as golden drops hanging on leaden clouds,a distillation of God's glory, promised and ready to flow upon whatever may be the heaviness of our circumstances.
