His First Moments in Glory

In this message, Pastor Jack Hayford explores the scriptures regarding Jesus' first few moments in glory. There has been the necessary death in order for the inheritance to be distributed, and He comes as the King Executor. He stands before the Father who holds the scroll, and He receives the scroll for He is the only one worthy to open it. A burst of praise in its most magnificence comes forth and all heaven declares the glory of the risen Lord. He had the right to break open what has been closed up to bring freedom from human bondage and tortured circumstance, He brings salvation, redemption and reinstatement of what God had originally planned. Jesus came to earth do the work of the Father. At the destined time He disappeared from the presence of the throne room of God and in that moment became a fetus in Nazareth. 34 years passed before He reappeared in heaven. The angelic hosts looked, and what they saw was not what left. This is a scarred human body that has returned. It is victorious, the body has healed, but the marks of a slaughtered lamb are there. We cannot understand what it cost Him when He chose to become confined to the form of a creature when He is the Creator. What the Lord has come to do is not only to administrate the processes of the massive program of redemption of mankind on earth, but in a very real sense He's come to do this person by person. Let the Lord Jesus become the author and finisher of the book of your life.
